The FIRMAN WH03242 Dual Fuel Whisper-Series Inverter Generator is built for homeowners, RV travelers, and jobsite crews needing clean, reliable power with fuel versatility. Running on standard gasoline or liquid propane straight out of the box, it delivers 4,000 starting watts and 3,200 running watts on gas, and 3,600 starting watts / 2,900 running watts on propane. Equipped with electric push-button start and manual recoil backup, the WH03242 is driven by a 193cc FIRMAN Max-Pro commercial 4-stroke OHV engine with a cast iron cylinder sleeve and low-oil automatic shutdown. Delivering pure sine wave electricity with less than 3% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), it is completely safe for sensitive electronics such as laptops, smart televisions, and medical equipment. The control panel features a 120V 30A TT-30R RV-ready receptacle, one 120V 20A duplex outlet, a 12V 8.3A DC automotive outlet, and USB charging ports. Built-in folding handle, flat-free rubber wheels, and parallel capability make this one of the most capable portable generators on the market.

Ordered the FIRMAN WH03242 Dual Fuel Gas Propane Inverter Generator 3200W/4000W 30 Amp with Electric Start after getting tired of sitting in the dark during Gulf storms. Freight delivery arrived on a liftgate truck right onto my concrete driveway. Hooked it into our manual transfer switch with a 50A cord and ran our central 4-ton AC, two refrigerators, well pump, and all household lights. Electric start fired right up on propane.

Can this generator power a 13,500 BTU or 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner?

Yes. With 4,000 starting watts and a dedicated 30A TT-30R RV receptacle, it easily starts and runs standard 13,500 BTU and 15,000 BTU RV rooftop air conditioners.

How does the electric start work?

It features an onboard 12V battery and a push-button start switch right on the front control panel. A manual recoil pull start is also provided as backup.

Can I run two of these in parallel for double power?

Yes. It features built-in parallel ports that connect to another FIRMAN inverter with an optional parallel kit to provide up to 50 amps of continuous power.

How quiet is the generator in eco mode?

At 25% load, it produces just 58 decibels at 23 feet, allowing normal conversation right next to the unit.

Can I store propane in it indefinitely?

Yes. Propane does not gum up the carburetor like old gasoline does, making it the ideal fuel for standby emergency readiness.
