The SGR1500 is the stump grinder for properties without a tractor. A 420cc 15 HP gasoline engine drives a 12 inch cutting wheel with 8 YG11C carbide teeth through two Kevlar V-belts and a centrifugal clutch. It cuts 12 inches above grade and 10 inches below, so the whole stump and its root crown disappear. Tubeless tires, a 10 in front wheel and a drum brake make it easy to roll from stump to stump or tow across the property.
12 in carbide cutting wheel: Eight YG11C carbide tips chew through hardwood stumps and buried roots without stalling. 420cc 15 HP engine: Single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled OHV power with recoil start. Fuel up and go, no tractor required.
42CrMo tip holders: Forged alloy holders keep every carbide tip locked in place under heavy shock loads. Kevlar V-belt drive: Two Kevlar V-belts and a centrifugal clutch give smooth engagement and a long service life.
Towable chassis with drum brake: Tubeless tires, a 10 in front wheel and a drum brake make moving between stumps easy and park it safely on a slope. Deep and high cutting range: 12 in above ground and 10 in below grade so the stump is gone, not just trimmed.

No licence is required to own or operate the grinder on private property. At 265 lb it rolls up a ramp onto any utility trailer or pickup bed, and it can be towed off-road behind an ATV or mower at up to 15 mph.
